A similar tradition has also been transmitted by Jabir b. Zaid and al-Hasan through a different chain of narrators.
Abu Dawud said
The narrator sa'id retained te tradition more carefully than Hammad.حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، وَالْحَسَنِ، مِثْلَهُ . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ سَعِيدٌ أَحْفَظُ مِنْ حَمَّادٍ .
