He was told: Messenger of Allah , in that case he will of starvation. So he allowed him to visit (the cit) twice a week so that he might ask for food and go back.حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، فِي هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ فَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّهُ إِذًا يَمُوتُ مِنَ الْجُوعِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ مَرَّتَيْنِ فَيَسْأَلَ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعَ .
