Chapter 448: Giving the greeting to people
بَابُ إِفْشَاءِ السَّلامِ
Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 981
'Abdullah ibn 'Amr reported that the Messenger of Allah , may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Worship the All-Merciful and feed people. Make the greeting common practice among you and you will enter the Garden."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: اعْبُدُوا الرَّحْمَنَ، وَأَطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ، وَأَفْشُوا السَّلاَمَ، تَدْخُلُوا الْجِنَانَ.
