Musnad 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib
وَمِنْ مُسْنَدِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Chapter :
Musnad Ahmad 1352
It was narrated that Abu Hayyah said
I saw ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) do wudoo’. He washed his hands thoroughly, then he washed his face three times and his forearms three times; then he wiped his head, then he washed his feet up to the ankles, Then he stood up and drank the leftover wudoo’ water. Then he said: I wanted to show you the wudoo’ of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) .حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّةَ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَنْقَى كَفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ إِلَى الْكَعْبَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَشَرِبَ فَضْلَ وَضُوئِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُرِيَكُمْ طُهُورَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
