Musnad Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (ra)
مُسْنَدُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

Musnad Ahmad 35, 36
It was narrated from 'Asim from Zirr from ‘Abdullah that Abu Bakr and ‘Umar gave him the glad tidings that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
`Whoever would like to recite the Qur'an fresh as it was revealed, let him recite it according to the recitation of Ibn Umm 'Abd.`Umar bin al-Khattab narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said... a similar report, in which he said: crisp or fresh.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ زِرٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا بَشَّرَاهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ غَضًّا كَمَا أُنْزِلَ فَلْيَقْرَأْهُ عَلَى قِرَاءَةِ ابْنِ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ
قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ غَضًّا أَوْ رَطْبًا.
Musnad Ahmad 350
It was narrated from Ibn al Musayyab that `Umar (رضي الله عنه) said
One of the last verses to be revealed was the verse on riba, and when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) died, he had not explained it. So avoid riba and any dubious matter.حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ آخِرِ مَا أُنْزِلَ آيَةُ الرِّبَا وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تُوُفِّيَ وَلَمْ يُفَسِّرْهَا فَدَعُوا الرِّبَا وَالرِّيبَةَ.
Musnad Ahmad 351
It was narrated from Abu Moosa that he used to advise people to do Tamattu` (in Hajj). A man said to him
Do not rush in giving fatwas, for you do not know what Ameer al-Mu`mineen has decided with regard to Haji. When he met him later on, he asked him and ‘Umar said: I know that the Prophet (ﷺ) did it and his Companions did it, but I do not like [the people] to have intercourse with [their wives] beneath the arak trees and go out to Hajj with their heads dripping(from ghusl).حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُفْتِي بِالْمُتْعَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ رُوَيْدَكَ بِبَعْضِ فُتْيَاكَ فَإِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ فِي النُّسُكِ بَعْدَكَ حَتَّى لَقِيَهُ بَعْدُ فَسَأَلَهُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ فَعَلَهُ وَأَصْحَابُهُ وَلَكِنِّي كَرِهْتُ أَنْ يَظَلُّوا بِهِنَّ مُعَرِّسِينَ فِي الْأَرَاكِ وَيَرُوحُوا لِلْحَجِّ تَقْطُرُ رُءُوسُهُمْ.
Musnad Ahmad 358
It was narrated that ‘Amr bin Maimoon said
`Umar (رضي الله عنه) prayed Fajr when he was in Jam`. Abu Dawood said: We were with `Umar in Jamo, and he said: The mustrikoort used not to move on until the sun rose, and they would say: Shine, (Mount) Thabeer. The Prophet (ﷺ) of Allah differed from them and moved on before the sun rose.حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ صَلَّى عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ الصُّبْحَ وَهُوَ بِجَمْعٍ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ كُنَّا مَعَ عُمَرَ بِجَمْعٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ كَانُوا لَا يُفِيضُونَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ وَيَقُولُونَ أَشْرِقْ ثَبِيرُ وَإِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالَفَهُمْ فَأَفَاضَ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ.
