Bulugh al-Maram 584
Buraidah bin Al-Husaib al-Aslami (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “I had forbidden you to visit graves, but now you may visit them.” Related by Muslim. At-Tirmidhi added the following, “It will remind you of the Here-after."
وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ بْنِ الْحَصِيبِ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ فَزُورُوهَا } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 . زَادَ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ: { فَإِنَّهَا تُذَكِّرُ الْآخِرَةَ } 2 .
