Anas said that when the Prophet (ﷺ) came to Mina he went to the jamra and threw pebbles at it, after which he went to his lodging in Mina and sacrificed his victim. He then called for a barber, and turning his right side to him, he let him shave him. He then called Abu Talha al-Ansari and gave him what had been shaved off; after which he turned his left side telling the barber to shave him, and when he had done so he gave Abu Talha what had been shaved off and told him to divide it among the people.
