Mishkat al-Masabih 3688
‘A’idh b. ‘Amr told that he heard Allah's Messenger ﷺ say, “The worst shepherds are those who are ungentle.” Muslim transmitted it.
وَعَنْ عَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٌو قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ شرَّ الرعاءِ الحُطَمَة» . رَوَاهُ مُسلم
