Mishkat al-Masabih 3786
‘Abdallah b. az-Zubair told that Allah's Messenger ﷺ gave the decision that the two adversaries should be made to sit in front of the judge. Ahmad and Abu Dawud transmitted it.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ الْخَصْمَيْنِ يَقْعُدَانِ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْحَاكِمِ. رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ
