Mishkat al-Masabih 3854
Aba Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying, “The believers in the world are in three classes
those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and do not doubt, but strive with their property and their persons in Allah’s path; the man whom people trust with their property and their persons; then the man who, when he is about to display greed, abandons it for the sake of Allah who is great and glorious.” Ahmad transmitted it.وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيُّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْمُؤْمِنُونَ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَلَى ثَلَاثَةِ أَجْزَاءٍ: الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِي يأمنه النَّاس على النَّاسُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِي إِذَا أَشْرَفَ عَلَى طَمَعٍ تَرَكَهُ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ". رَوَاهُ أَحْمد
