Mishkat al-Masabih 3956
Anas reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying, “Go in Allah’s name, trusting in Allah, and adhering to the religion of Allah's Messenger ﷺ. Do not kill a decrepit old man, or a young infant, or a woman; do not be dishonest about booty, but collect your spoils, do right and act well, for Allah loves those who do well.”* * Cf. Al-Qur’an; 2

Abu Dawud transmitted it.وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «انْطَلِقُوا بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِاللَّهِ وعَلى ملِّة رسولِ الله لَا تقْتُلوا شَيْخًا فَانِيًا وَلَا طِفْلًا صَغِيرًا وَلَا امْرَأَةً وَلَا تَغُلُّوا وَضُمُّوا غَنَائِمَكُمْ وَأَصْلِحُوا وَأَحْسِنُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يحبُّ المحسنينَ» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
