Mishkat al-Masabih 4288
Ibn ‘Abbas told that dates were steeped for Allah's Messenger ﷺ at the beginning of the night and he would drink it in the morning and the night after, the following day and the night after, and the next day up to the afternoon. If anything remained, he gave it to the servant to drink, or gave orders and it was poured out. Muslim transmitted it.
