Mishkat al-Masabih 4346
Ibn ‘Umar reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying, “He who wears grand clothes in this world will be made by Allah to wear humble clothes on the day of resurrection.” Ahmad, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ لَبِسَ ثَوْبَ شهرةٍ منَ الدُّنْيَا أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ ثَوْبَ مَذَلَّةٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمد وَأَبُو دَاوُد وَابْن مَاجَه
