Chapter 13: The etiquette of eating and drinking, and rulings thereon
باب آدَابِ الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ وَأَحْكَامِهِمَا

Jabir b. 'Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) having said
Do not eat with your left hand, for the Satan eats with his left hand.حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ تَأْكُلُوا بِالشِّمَالِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِالشِّمَالِ " .
