Chapter 38: It Is Recommended To Kill Geckos
باب اسْتِحْبَابِ قَتْلِ الْوَزَغِ
Sahih Muslim 2239
'A'isha reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said about the gecko as a noxious creature". Harmala made this addition that she said
I did not hear that he had commanded to kill them.وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، وَحَرْمَلَةُ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ " الْفُوَيْسِقُ " . زَادَ حَرْمَلَةُ قَالَتْ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ .
