Chapter 5: Washing the face and hands when waking from sleep
باب غَسْلِ الْوَجْهِ وَالْيَدَيْنِ إِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ مِنَ النَّوْمِ
Sahih Muslim 304
Ibn 'Abbas reported
The Apostle (ﷺ) woke up at night; relieved himself, and then washed his face and hands and then again slept.حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَأَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ ثُمَّ نَامَ .
