Chapter 113: What the Image-Makers Will be Commanded to Do on the Day of Resurrection
باب ذِكْرِ مَا يُكَلَّفُ أَصْحَابُ الصُّوَرِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Sunnan an-Nasai 5360
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said
"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Whoever makes an image will be commanded on the Day of Resurrection to breathe the soul into it but he will not be able to do so.'"أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ صَوَّرَ صُورَةً كُلِّفَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَنْ يَنْفُخَ فِيهَا الرُّوحَ وَلَيْسَ بِنَافِخٍ " .
